“Chaos Pilots don’t fit into any category”

Kaospilot is a business school in Denmark that does things a little differently. But does that mean its graduates, who come from all over the world, are better equipped to find innovative solutions to today’s challenges?

“The power of the community”

Music has shaped his life. Paavo Järvi grew up surrounded by renowned musicians and classical music, and his father taught him everything he needed to know to become a conductor. “I’m not against plastic; I’m just against plastic waste”

Andreas Fath loves water. To raise awareness about water pollution, the chemist has swum across several rivers from source to mouth. He spoke about these and other experiences during a visit with him in the Black Forest.

“Big Christ in a small town”

The project has divided Polish society, with some expressing pride, others derision, and many practicing Catholics calling for it to be abandoned. The chief building inspector has received threats, including having a brick thrown through his car window.

It’s no secret that the numerous brick kilns scattered across the outskirts of Dhaka are the biggest contributors to our capital city’s steadily deteriorating air quality, which is classified as dangerous to sensitive groups at best and toxic to everyone at worst.

“Fragments of the past”

Who shapes a country’s history? Who decides what is displayed in museums, what is discussed and taught in schools—and what is left out? In Hungary, Sacha Batthyany meets with cautious, sometimes even frightened teachers and historians who are increasingly under state surveillance.

“Adolfo Kaminski - The Master Forger”

After his mother died and all evidence suggested she had been killed by the Nazis, the young Adolfo joined the French Resistance. He was a dyer, loved chemistry, and was a talented forger capable of making previously indelible inks disappear. This marked the beginning of a long double life during which he would provide false passports and documents to many resistance movements around the world.

He installs carburetors in Ludwigshafen and builds bridges and vocational training centers in his African kingdom. In Europe, his fans pat him on the shoulder when they see him on the street. In Africa, his subjects must kneel before him during audiences.
